What data is processed on this site

There is no contact form, membership or registration system on this site; no patient records, appointments or health data are processed here. The only data processed is:

Visit statistics. If you give explicit consent in the cookie notice, which pages are viewed and how often is measured with Google Analytics. This data is not matched with your identity; it is tied to a pseudonymous identifier. If you do not consent, no measurement takes place at all.
E-mails you send us. When you write to the address on the contact page, your name, e-mail address and the content of your message are processed solely in order to carry out the correspondence.
If you reach us by telephone or WhatsApp, the contact details you provide are processed for the same purpose. WhatsApp conversations are also processed on Meta’s servers; we recommend sharing sensitive information by telephone or during your appointment rather than through this channel.

Legal basis

Visit statistics are processed on the basis of your explicit consent under KVKK art. 5/1; messages you send us are processed under KVKK art. 5/2-(f), on the basis of legitimate interest, so that your enquiry can be answered.

Transfer and international transfer

Your data is not sold or transferred to third parties for marketing purposes. Because the measurement service is provided by Google LLC (USA), statistical data may be processed on servers outside Türkiye; this processing relies solely on the explicit consent you give in the cookie notice. Other external content used on the site is explained in the Privacy and Cookie Policy.

Retention period

Visit statistics are retained in Google Analytics for a maximum of 14 months. Correspondence is kept for as long as the matter and the applicable legislation require, and is then erased or anonymised.

Your rights

Under KVKK art. 11 you have the following rights:

To learn whether your personal data is being processed
To request information if it has been processed
To learn the purpose of processing and whether the data is used accordingly
To know the third parties, in Türkiye or abroad, to whom it has been transferred
To request correction if it has been processed incompletely or inaccurately
To request erasure or destruction
To request that corrections, erasures and destructions be notified to the third parties to whom the data was transferred
To object to a result reached against you through analysis carried out solely by automated systems
To claim compensation if you suffer damage as a result of unlawful processing

In accordance with the Communiqué on the Procedures and Principles of Application to the Data Controller, you may submit your requests, together with information identifying you, by e-mail to bilgi@sayinsuortodonti.com or in writing to Sayınsu Ortodonti Kliniği, Fenerbahçe Mah., Operatör Cemil Topuzlu Cd., Sedef Apt., No: 31/5, 34726 Kadıköy/İstanbul. Your application will be concluded within thirty days at the latest.
